I have worked as a NHS General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist in the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea since 2002. I am also an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Psychological Medicine at Imperial College, London. I have extensive experience in assessing and managing all major mental illnesses, including depression (mild to severe), all anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, psychosis, drug and alcohol misuse and dual diagnosis (co-existing drug/alcohol misuse and mental disorder).

I am interested in Clinical Effectiveness – that is ensuring health care treatments provided are maximally effective, by being based on the most up-to-date evidence available. I lead on this in my NHS practice. I am also involved at a London and National level in helping to develop clinically effective mental health services.

Originally German, I studied medicine and Psychiatry in France and worked as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry consultant in a French hospital for 20 years. I directed a day care centre for autistic children and attachment disorder there, and was in charge of a generic CAMHS team and a paediatric liaison team. I was also trained in interpersonal psychotherapy, systemic family therapy and hypnotherapy in France.

Since 2015, I moved to the UK where I have been sharing my working time between various NHS teams (neurodevelopmental, eating disorder and adolescent crisis teams) and private practice.

I graduated from Edinburgh University in 1973, and entered psychiatry at the Neuropsychiatric Centre, Royal AirForce Hospital Wroughton in Wiltshire in 1980. My previous post-graduate experience had been in General Medicine, Expedition Medicine and Neurology. I was appointed Consultant in 1986 and my focus turned to psychological trauma after the Lockerbie Air Disaster in 1988 and active service in the Gulf War of 1991 as RAF psychiatric adviser in the field, first-ever debriefings of British prisoners-of-war and released British hostages from the Lebanon. My team developed new treatment strategies for trauma in the RAF and post-RAF I concentrated on trauma services for civilians, police officers, emergency service personnel and military veterans.

In 1992 I received the RAF Aviation Medicine prize and in 1993 received the “People of the Year“ Award from the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation in recognition of my work in the field of psychotrauma.

Currently, I am Lead Consultant in Psychological Trauma at Nightingale Hospital London, and have another outpatient clinic in Wiltshire and visiting Professor to the University of Chester’s MSc in Psychological Trauma.

I am a consultant general adult psychiatrist with 29 years’ experience in psychiatry and medicine. I was a GP prior to training in psychiatry. Since 2002 I have been employed by East London NHS Trust and am based at Homerton University Hospital. I worked with the street homeless for 10 years as a psychiatrist, providing care to rough sleepers. I have specialist experience in treating all the major mental disorders. I have lectured on pharmacology and sleep disorders at Barts and The London Medical School. I have held senior leadership positions within the NHS, BMA and The Royal College of Psychiatrists. I graduated in Medicine in 1995 and went on to train in General Psychiatry at UCH/Royal Free Hospitals and the South London and Maudsley Hospitals gaining a wealth of experience.

I have worked in London as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2003. I spent 14 years at Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust in one of the four Eating Disorders Services in London. I led the development of the community service for 10 years and acted as Clinical Lead for the latter 2 years.

I have been developing my private practice since 2017 seeing patients at the Nightingale Hospital and the Priory Hospital.

I have been a Clinical Supervisor for higher trainees and I’m a recognised teacher at Royal Free and University College London. I have delivered lectures and talks to a variety of audiences and have also presented at international conferences.

I have been involved with the development of national guidelines, policy, professional standards and training in my roles as executive committee member for the Section of Eating Disorders (now Faculty) and the London Division, both part of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. I was a member of the Clinical Reference Group for NHS England and wrote the Guideline for Commissioners of Eating Disorders Services published by the Joint Commissioning Panel for Mental Health.

I am involved with academic research in the field of eating disorders.

I have been a consultant psychiatrist in private practice in central London for 31 years. I treat a wide range of adult psychiatric disorders in my practice which combines a psychotherapeutic approach with medications where necessary. I have been admitting inpatient care to the Nightingale Hospital since it first opened in 1987. I also visit the London Clinic, Wellington and Cromwell Hospitals regularly for liaison treatment of neurological, surgical and medical patients. Dr Punukollu has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2009 in the private sector at Nightingale Hospital and Sloane Medical Practice in Chelsea. He sees large numbers of patients with a range of disorders encompassing both General Adult and Addictions Psychiatry.

Consultant Psychiatrist – General Psychiatry

I trained as a doctor at Manchester University, and after medical and surgical posts, moved to London in 2000 to work as a Psychiatrist. I have held posts across London in a variety of settings, working with people from all walks of life and of all ages and backgrounds. This includes working in community clinics, general and psychiatric hospitals, with people from all ethnic backgrounds, with homeless people and with immigration and social issues.

I have been a community consultant psychiatrist since 2008, and work within the NHS for Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. I am the clinical lead for a recovery team helping people with long standing mental health needs, and also for an Early Intervention Service that helps people who have become psychiatrically unwell for the first time.

I greatly enjoy teaching, and have received certificates of excellence from St George’s medical school for the last two years. I also regularly host seminars for GPs and other health professionals on all areas of mental health.

I graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos Nigeria in 1994 with the MBBS degree. This was followed by postgraduate psychiatric training in London with the Charing Cross and St Mary’s training scheme leading to the award of the MRCPsych by examination in 2002. As a specialist registrar, I undertook training in cognitive behavioural therapy at the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London, leading to the award of a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT in 2006.

I qualified in Medicine from Oxford in 1992, and completed my psychiatric training on the SW London and St George’s training rotation. I am on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council with accreditation in General Adult Psychiatry.

I have practiced psychiatry since 1997 and have extensive experience of a wide range of mental health problems. I held an NHS consultant post in the St George’s Eating Disorders Service, which has an international reputation as a centre of excellence, and I have a particular expertise in the management of anorexia nervosa, bulimia, anxiety and depression and relationship difficulties.

I previously worked as the lead clinician for psychiatric admissions in Hammersmith and Fulham in Charing Cross and the dual diagnosis lead for West London Mental Health NHS Trust (WLMHT).

I have a special interest in neurodevelopmental conditions and set up an adult ADHD service for South London and the Maudsley in 2009. I was the lead for developing services for adults with neurodevelopmental conditions for WLMHT.

I continue to work part-time for an specialist neurodevelopmental NHS clinic for adults. The clinic is linked to research and involves training medical undergraduates and psychiatrists in this specialist area.

I am approved by UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) for Therapeutic Use Exemption applications for competitive athletes. UKAD is responsible for ensuring compliance with the World Anti-Doping Association’s Code. I can therefore support applications to International sports governing bodies.

I am part of the research team involved in the English and Romanian Adoptees Brain Imaging Study investigating how sustained early deprivation effects neurodevelopment. The study is conducted jointly by the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London and Southampton University.

I conducted a field trial to support the World Health Organisation’s ICD-11 working group for of the revised diagnostic criteria for personality disorder. The diagnostic criteria for personality disorder have been subject to considerable revision because of the difficulty in making a consistent and accurate diagnosis.

Previous research included the long term brain changes due to alcohol misuse and defining the appetitive reward pathways in the brain related to addiction.

I qualified in Medicine from Guys & St. Thomas’ medical school and went straight on to specialise in psychiatry, first at South London & Maudsley and then onto the Royal free/UCL for higher specialist training. During two decades of practising in mental health I have the experience of assessing, diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of conditions.

I have worked in the NHS as a consultant at the Chelsea & Westminster since 2009 before moving onto the West London Mental Health Trust until 2017. There, I led a ‘crisis’ team and liaison service, an assertive outreach team specialising in psychosis and latterly a recovery community team.

I now practice privately.

I accept referrals from patients, GPs, Occupational Health departments and employers. I am able to communicate fluent in French and conversational Spanish.

Any information disclosed will remain confidential, usually only released with patient consent.

I have 10 original authorships including, papers & abstracts in peer-review medical journals.

I lecture to GP colleagues and tutor on the GP training rotations attached to Imperial medical school, this enables me to make our new generation of GPs aware and competent in identifying mental health needs and when to refer on to specialist care.

Daniel McQueen obtained a Degree in Psychology and a Medical Degree from Sheffield University Medical School in 1994. He then worked as a Physician and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1998. He qualified and worked as a general practitioner in 2000, specialising in mental health and substance misuse. He has worked as a [sychiatrist since 2003.

He completed specialist training in psychiatry sub-specialising in medical psychotherapy, working with families, adolescents and adults at the Cassel Hospital, West London, in 2010. Since then he has worked as a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist and as a consultant adult psychiatrist and medical psychotherapist. As a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist he has worked in a wide range of CAMHS settings, including inpatient, outpatient, hospital liaison, eating disorders, neurodevelopment, ADHD, specialist education and looked after children. As a consultant adult psychiatrist and medical psychotherapist he has specialised in eating disorders, personality disorder and families.

I am a senior consultant psychiatrist, with expertise in supporting recovery from a broad range of psychiatric and psychological conditions. I graduated from University College Dublin Medical School in 1986 and completed specialised psychiatry training at the world famous Maudsley Hospital in London, where I have worked as a consultant for 20 years. I was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2011, for promoting developments and standards in mental health care.

Following psychiatric training at the Maudsley Hospital and three years as a university lecturer in clinical psychiatry at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, I have been a consultant psychiatrist since 1996, initially as general adult and liaison psychiatrist at St Mary’s Hospital and in recent years as liaison psychiatrist at UCLH. Between times, I was for a number of years the lead consultant on intensive care wards covering a busy inner city catchment area, accepting for treatment patients subject to ongoing criminal proceedings. I deal routinely with issues of risk assessment and management.

Following retirement from the NHS, I am an Honorary Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist at University College London Hospital and continue to have a clinic within the gastroenterology department.

In earlier years I published in the area of schizophrenia, but more recently have carried out audit work in liaison psychiatry, the interaction of functional symptoms and mental health in gastroenterology and the presentation of alcohol problems in the general hospital.

I studied medicine in Nottingham and trained in psychiatry with the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (Guys and St Thomas’ hospitals) and at St Mary’s Hospital. I am a general adult psychiatrist and have experience working with the full range of mental health problems that are encountered in adulthood. In addition to my private practice, which has been built gradually over 15 years, I continue to work as an NHS Consultant Psychiatrist in London.

One of my main areas of specialist expertise is Adult ADHD. I work in one of the very few London-based NHS specialist Adult ADHD services. I am on the Executive Board of UKAAN (the main professional organisation for Adult ADHD in the UK) and I am UKAAN’s Training Programme Director. The comprehensive training programme UKAAN offers is highly respected in the UK and recognised internationally for its quality. I lecture widely on the topic of Adult ADHD and its management.

I am also Medical Director of ‘The Grove Practice’, an established central London psychotherapy and training organisation. The Grove is currently involved in providing specialist trauma-focussed therapy for those affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster.

I have, in recent years, worked as a psychiatrist to a London-based university, seeing students with mental health difficulties. I am one of very few psychiatrists also trained as a psychotherapist (integrating a variety of trainings including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Hypnotherapy, EMDR and EFT into my psychiatric practice). I have also done some training in nutrition, a particular area of interest.

I have recently introduced two new, cutting-edge interventions to support my clinical approach:

• The first is the use of pharmacogenetic testing (specifically the ‘Genecept’ mouth swab test by US company, ‘Genomind’). I have come to recognise the clear benefits of a more targeted and informed approach to medication choice. The results of the test help patients and their clinicians migrate away from medications for which an identified genetic variant would likely lead to poor tolerability or non-response.

 

•  The second is the use of leading US medical device, ‘Alpha-Stim’, an FDA approved cranial electrotherapy treatment for Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia and Pain management. With an extensive evidence-base, and technology that has been refined and tested over 30 years, Alpha-stim is now available to the UK market, and I have already integrated in to my routine patient care. After a highly successful study in the NHS, Alpha-stim looks set to get NICE approval for the treatment of Generalised Anxiety Disorder.

I am co-author of a textbook on Adult ADHD, and editor of a book on alcoholism in high functioning individuals. I am (co)author of a number of papers both in Adult ADHD and Liaison psychiatry.

I am currently chairing a team of European experts in the 2018 update of the pharmacotherapy section of the European Consensus Statement on Diagnosis and Treatment of Adult ADHD.

As Director of Medical Education and more broadly as medical educator at Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust over a period of more than 20 years I have led in the training of hundreds of psychiatrists and have attracted repeated personal praise by the London Deanery for my leadership in Medical Education. Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

I was a consultant in child and adolescent psychiatry in the NHS for over 25 years in NELFT. I was medical director in NELFT for 6 years will 2014.

The problems young people experience fall into three categories.

Firstly they may develop a mental health condition, with symptoms, for example, depression, anxiety and OCD are common conditions.

Secondly they may have one of the neuro-developmental disorders, ADHD or ASD for example.

Thirdly they may have got into a significant struggle with managing how they feel. This problem is not a condition or a disorder but how they understand and process their feelings, which when it goes wrong leaves a young person feeling overwhelmed, isolated, even out of touch with their feelings, which can lead to cutting or other maladaptive behaviours. These three problems can present separately or together.

My approach is to take a developmental perspective, to explore the young persons history and life experiences, and from there assess for symptoms to identify if a condition is present, to look for neuro-developmental struggles and their associated behaviours and to explore emotional struggles. Once it is clear what the problem is it is possible to agree a treatment plan

My main aim is to help a child/young person to continue, or resume, a healthy development so they can achieve at school/college and socially.

I graduated in Medicine and Surgery with High Honours at the University of Modena in 2001. I consequently trained in general adult psychiatry at The World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre of Verona, obtaining my CCT in 2005. Eating Disorder Consultant Psychiatrist, Specialist in Eating Disorders , General Psychiatry

I qualified in medicine at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in 1982. Following this I worked in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Casualty and then began to specialise in Psychiatry in 1984. I trained at Kings College and the Maudsley Hospitals in London and in 1989 gained Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. I became a Senior Registrar on the Oxford part time training scheme and gained a CCST in General Adult Psychiatry 1998. During this time, I gained extensive experience in acute general psychiatry and psychological treatment methods including individual and group dynamic psychotherapy. In addition, I hold a certificate in Cognitive Therapy (Oxford Post Qualification course 1994). Using this relevant experience, I started to work in the field of Eating Disorders. I worked as an NHS Consultant in Buckinghamshire from 1999 – 2003. This post included acute general psychiatry for adults and Project Leadership for setting up a new adult eating disorder service in Buckinghamshire and appointing an outpatient specialist team for the county. This service is now combined with Oxfordshire. In 2003, I moved into private practice to work with the specialist Eating Disorder team at Nightingale Hospital London.

I have taught and lectured including and have given a series of educative talks to schools, medical colleagues and allied professions about various aspects of eating disorders including, ‘Anorexia and Bulimia Nervosa: Current Management Menu’, ’The Dangers of Dieting’, and ‘Eating Disorders and Reproduction’.

I have a Masters in Social Sculpture (a contemporary art form with theoretical underpinnings in Philosophy). I am now engaged in part-time arts-based PhD research exploring links between this field and Medicine. My research concern is, broadly, how connective aesthetic practices may make clinical practice more humane.

I am co-convener of the Aesthetics in Mental Health Group (AiMH) which I founded in in 2014. This continues with annual symposium. This group incorporates theory and practice of philosophy, psychiatry and related disciplines. This group is part of the Collaborating Centre for Values-Based Health and Social Care at St Catherine’s College, Oxford.

Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

I am a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with more than 12 years NHS clinical experience supporting children and families, and 8 years experience in teaching and clinical research at Imperial College London. I trained as a doctor at the University of Aberdeen and completed my psychiatric training at St Mary’s Hospital, London.

As an NHS Consultant, I led multidisciplinary teams in CAMHS Inpatient and Crisis Services (Forest House Adolescent Unit, HPFT NHS Trust); Outpatient Generic CAMHS, Specialist Paediatric Liaison and Neurodevelopmental services (CNWL, BEH NHS Trusts, London). I support children, adolescents and their families across the range of mild to severe difficulties (including anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, somatising) that can arise throughout the different developmental life stages.

I have completed additional training at the University of Oxford in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and am a qualified CBT therapist. I am also qualified in specialised ADHD and Autism assessments e.g. ADOS(Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) and ADIR(Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised).

I have clinical and research expertise in supporting children with physical manifestations of psychological distress. I also have particular experience in supporting the emotional health of children who have a physical condition, and have run specialist clinics for children with diabetes and epilepsy.

I have worked with many different cultures and communities in the UK. Additionally, I have developed mental health services and education with NGO’s and Governmental Organisations overseas, including in Ghana, Malawi, Ethiopia. These experiences have enhanced my understanding of the spiritual and cultural influences in mental and physical health.

I have particular clinical and research expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry, specifically relating to somatising (where psychological distress is experienced as physical symptoms), helping children and adolescents cope with physical illness and self harm. I have been working in the mental health sector since 1994 in Sweden, U.K. and as an adviser in several Arabic countries. I have extensive experience in basic research, applied research and each of the four clinical settings in medicine: family medicine, neurology, neurophysiology and psychiatry. My PhD thesis focused on the impact of human behaviour on changes in brain activity. My work at the Karoliniska Nobel hospital, was mainly focused on the research and treatment of bipolar affective disorders at the world leading bipolar centre. The centre has a capacity of 1200 outpatients with inpatient facilities addressing the need of the bipolar patients during crisis and recovery. I also worked at the Bipolar centre at Oxford University Hospital. I am the UK Chief investigator for the BRIDGE screening programme. The purpose of this study was to screen patients with depression who might suffer from concealed Bipolar illnesses. 5564 patients were screened world-wide. This study has an impact on the definition and diagnosis of the Bipolar Affective Spectrum. I teach medical students, supervise junior doctors and mentor new consultant psychiatrists. I was awarded a prize by the Swedish Medical Association for my work in helping overseas doctors to efficiently integrate into the Swedish health system.

I am a Consultant Psychiatrist and am on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council. I have over 25 years experience in General Adult Psychiatry.

I completed my specialist training in Psychiatry and obtained my Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1984. I then worked closely for a number of years with the late Professor Linford Rees, Past President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and, during that time, successfully ran the Huntecombe Manor Hospital as its Medical Director between 1989 and 1992.

Since then, I have been based in Central London and I have established a successful practice in General Adult Psychiatry with a special interest in Work-related Stress Disorder, Affective Disorders including Major Depressive Disorders and Bipolar Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Schizophrenia and Psychopharmacology.

I am a general adult psychiatrist working in both the NHS and private sector in London.

I completed my medical education in Italy and my postgraduate qualification in General Adult Psychiatry both in Italy and in the UK. I have e deep interest in research and I worked for four years at the National Institute of Health (NIH), Bethesda, USA. In 2008 I completed a PhD in addiction biology.

I am Clinical Director of the Mind and Body Programme in South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust & King’s Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre. Clinically I am a liaison psychiatrist, which means that although employed by a mental health trust I work in acute trust hospital settings. King’s College hospital is my base hospital where I have particular interests in self-harm, personality disorder, mental health crisis management and the overlap between physical health and mental health difficulties.

I completed my undergraduate medical degree at the University of Edinburgh (2000); my masters degree, from the University of Cambridge (2007) and subsequently my doctoral research degree at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London (2015).

I undertook my post-graduate clinical training in Edinburgh, Sydney and London and started as a substantive NHS consultant psychiatrist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust in 2011. He is an expert in somatic syndromes, such as chronic fatigue and chronic pain syndromes, which lie at the interface between general medicine, surgery and psychiatry. He is frequently instructed in the provision of expert medico-legal opinion on psychiatric disorders, head injury and post-concussion syndromes.

Outside of his clinic, he serves as a clinical senior lecturer in neurophysiology and clinical psychiatry at the Queen Mary University of London. His specialist research interests are in the neurophysiology of chronic pain, the functional somatic syndromes and related disorders.

After graduating in 1986 in Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics at Galway, I did my postgraduate psychiatric training at Charing Cross and Westminster Hospitals. In 2000 I became consultant psychiatrist at Whipps Cross University Hospital, Bart’s Hospital Trust. In my role as liaison psychiatrist at Whipps Cross, I created a new acute consultation service, which has expanded greatly over the years. My medical student and psychiatric teaching commitments take me to the Royal London Hospital. I was also consultant in Substance Misuse for the North East London region.

I am currently consultant for Acute Psychiatry and lead consultant for Adult ADHD in North East London. I run a busy private general adult psychiatric practice in Harley Street and the Nightingale Hospital.

I have, over 18 years of consultant experience, developed deep experience in the assessment and treatment of the full range of psychiatric disorders, and have close working relationships with colleagues in general medicine, surgery, and in psychotherapy disciplines.

I have experience in diagnosis, treatment and management of functional mental illnesses such as mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, bipolar affective disorder and psychosis; in particular the interaction between physical illnesses and mental health problems. I am also experienced in assessment, diagnosis and management of cognitive disorders and matters relevant to these conditions including capacity assessment. My medical career started in 1988 when I was awarded a scholarship to study medicine at the age of 17, after ranking 70th in the Nationwide Entrance Exam of Universities in Iran (out of approx. 270,000 candidates). After obtaining the Medical Doctoral (MD), I initially worked as a General Practitioner in Iran. I then joined Doctors without Borders (Médecins sans Frontières) and completed two humanitarian missions in Georgia and Kenya. I trained in psychiatry in the United Kingdom and I completed a higher training program in Old Age Psychiatry and General Adult Psychiatry, accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists (CCT in Old Age Psychiatry).

I have been working as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2011. I have experience in overseeing services as in-patient ward (current post), community mental health team, memory service. In addition to psychiatry, I trained and practiced in Cognitive Analytic Therapy between 2008 and 2017. I have special interest in medical education. I am Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College; and I also offer honorary teachings at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (King’s College). I have been involved in different research and quality improvement projects, including production of care pathway for memory service and quality accreditation for inpatient wards by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Systemic & Family Psychotherapist, Eating Disorder Specialist

In 2007 I joined Nightingale Hospital as a Psychotherapist. I qualified in 1998 as a Systemic & Family Psychotherapist at the Institute of Psychiatry. Since then I have been working in various Child and Adolescent Mental Health settings in the Community (CAMHS) and in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient settings in London. I am therefore very familiar with a wide variety of psychiatric and psychological problems young people and their families can be confronted with. This does include issues that can arise from the interaction between family life and education.

I have been working across all age groups in my family therapy and couple work over the years. I am particularly interested in the life stage transition of individuals and the impact this can have on people who are closely connected to each other.

After completing psychiatric training in Turkey, I moved to the UK with a research scholarship, where I obtained my membership degree from the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

From 1990 until 2003, for 13 years, I worked as a psychiatric intensive care consultant and from 2003 until 2007 was the lead consultant at the National Psychosis Unit at the Maudsley Hospital, London.

I am currently doing part-time private practice as well as researching the effects of cannabis on mental functioning.

I trained in medicine at King’s College Hospital, London and obtained an intercalated Degree in Psychology (BSc. 2:1) from the University College London. I completed my psychiatric training at the Maudsley; a centre of excellence and one of the most influential mental health establishments in the world. I obtained a Master’s Degree in Addictions (MSc. Merit) from the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London, and have trained and worked with the leaders in the field of mental health and addictions. I have been practicing psychiatry since 2000 and work for the NHS and the private sector.

I am recognised by the General Medical Council (4637608) as a Dual Specialist in General Adult and Addiction Psychiatry and by all major Private Medical Insurers. I am able to communicate fluently in Farsi (Persian) and am well placed to address issues in patients from Iran and the Middle East.
